Abstract. This paper mainly focuses on the problems of inaccurate measurement of the primary air flow rate in a coalfired power plant. The feasibility of improving the uniformity of flow fields and temperature fields by installing doublelayer arch cool air distributor and mixed flow matrix was analyzed by the method of numerical simulation.
